What about guitarman.com? Or do you already have that? musicmania.com, music-in-a-box.com, stringed.com, my daughter suggested: music-on-a-string.com

I like the Music-on-a-string.com as well, but I woul recommend getting the musiconastring.com as well.
If I tell you verbally to go there, I'd have to say "music dash on dash on dash a dash string dot com" or "music hyphen on hyphen on hyphen a hyphen string dot com", so it is easier to have both versions so I can just say "music on a string dot com"

Is this the website in a box thing you are talking about?
If it is then I wouldn't use it, I have personally just taken on two clients who have asked me to rebuild their sites as they originally built them themselves using this and it didn't work for them.

Yes that is the site,it was recommended in computer shopper magazine as being ideal for a novice like myself.
Thanks for all the suggestions demonhale but whats the best way to check the availability of these names as some of them link to pages?
Cheers

You can check domains out using something like this if the name is available it will tell you.
IMO you would be better off buying a template for the site design and then using even front page to create the site as those things in a box really don't do a very good job at all and lack flexibility.

Those that link to pages that are domain or web hosting providers are available, those with actual sites are not...

Well, he did just buy the domain within the last couple of days, so that's not too surprising.
