1-letter domain
I tried at networksolution to register a one letter domain, like www.a.com. But NS says that I must have at least 2 characters in the domain field.
Then why is there a www.x.com ?

There are only 26 one letter domains. Guess, they got sold pretty fast.
You can probably buy one for about a 100 million bucks.
