Not a bad name, but my CC doesn't go that high.

I agree, far too often you see peoplev alue a domain without taking into account the most important factors (the current state of the economy, the likeness of businesses to move online). You won't find any business who is going to pay $10,000,000 for a domain, and if they do..they won't be in business for very long. You could pay $10 for a shorter domain and spend the other $9,999,990 on development, promotion, and many other useful things.
Someone would only pay $10,000,000 for an established Brand like Pepsi-Cola. It's similar to a domain name in the sense that it's an intangible asset. But that domain name hasn't been established, it has no brand recognition. I wouldn't pay more then $10 for it, plus it's lengthy.

You'd think, it's crazy nowadays. SportsCentral.cc is 75,000. Good grief!

LOL... 10,000,000?.. Sure there!! It's a good domain name, but i don't think this individual understands that the days of domains selling for a million and up are basically over. Not totally, but mostly over.
heck...i have a domain and i plan to use in the future...actually building a site for it righ now...hehe my poor little domain name emoz.com. If only i could get 10,000,000 ...haha. I'll buy me a nice little island...slap!
enough day dreaming...

I bet a company would spend $10,000,000 on a one or two letter domain name. Take for example av.com, which was bought by AltaVista/CMGI. They're still in business.
The domain in question, on the other hand, definitely isn't worth that much money.
Hmm, don't remember. I sold a domain for $1k though.

Yeah Justin, and then ask yourself..when did they buy it? and what was the current state of the internet? Would they do it now? I don't think so..not with the way they are loosing money. I mean seriously, if they were doing that well would their stock have gone from $78 to $3?..

Yeah, I totally agree. But my point was, they spent close to $10,000,000 for a domain name. Would they do it now? Of course not. Are they still in business? Yes they are.

I understand but I hope you realise that when I made that comment I wasn't referring to the past but rather the present and (maybe) the future.
