Photoshop.

And greyscale versions are easy, but I often prefer to consider each treatment differently, not sacrificing the logo design just for conversion to greyscale.

Roo: It's "Webs"... though I do like the one with the orange.

Well, remember that:

  1. It has to be very scalable.
  2. It has to look good in greyscale, b&w, and glorious technicolour Wink
  3. It has to be portable to different mediums, e.g. Business Cards, fax's, web sites, e-mail footers etc.

Constrain yourself to these limitations, look at what others have done (check the comments to the article to see the logos - quite old, but still very relevant!)

Constraints aren't a bad thing either, especially if you don't know what you want. These rules will narrow your field and hopefully make you create an outstanding peice of work. Smiling

Have fun!

*sigh*

Here's one for you.. Though the cord came out pixellated. Oh well... What does one expect for a 3-minute logo?

Question: is it supposed to be Neb's Webs with an apostrophe, or no?

Well honestly....neither.

• Font Choice - Not good, maybe okay for a rock band, but not for a web designer.
• The line going through both logos - distracting
• The color - Flouersent green? Oaf!

Sit down and try to stretch your creative muscles a bit.
