Well this is kinda technical but I wanted to post it here.

How do you find the x,y position of the mouse? I know it's actionscript I've used actionscript. But how do you find the position of it, and from what position is the registration point [0,0]?

Thanks for any help, if any.

Flash is a Vector Graphics Program, and as such it belongs in the graphics forum.

What you have to do is create a draggable movie clip that's "invisible" (ie: has no contents), then you can get the mouse coordinates by getting the x and y positions of that clip. I've made an example source file awhile back that illustrates how to do this.

Preview the SWF here
Grab the source here

Hope this helps.
