Weirdness with .gif files
I have this file: http://creative-chick.com/files/forothers/forbrittanymv.gif and viewed it in both IE and Firefox. It looks really odd. It's the exact same file as this: http://img358.imageshack.us/my.php?image=forbrittanymvkl8.gif which has no weirdness. Do you see how part of the bottom of the image is flipping in red in IE and in black in FF?
What would cause that? I'm in discussion with my host server now, they are saying it's corrupted, but how can that be if it shows up perfectly on Image Shack's server?
Thanks!

I am assuming you got it fixed, as it looks fine in both IE and firefox.
As to why it could be corupted on one site and not the other, it could have uploaded perfectly to the one, then when you were uploading to the other server it became corrupted. YOUR file isn't corrupted, the copy the server finally got was. Usually if this happens, just try re-uploading the file.

Thanks Greg. I wonder if it's an FTP setting? I uploaded the first link through the hosts website server vs. using my FTP. What would make it do that? It's not the first time, just the first time I got fed up with it.

The only thing i can think of to check is the upoad method, make sure it uploading in BINARY mode, not ASCII. If the mode is set to automatic, maybe try forcing it to binary
