Website Depression - Help!

Aghh, I have been working on my website, http://est.digitalrice.com (kind of a weblog) for a while but I can't quite get the design to the stage where I sit back and say I'm happy (even if it's just fot a few days/weeks).

I now have exams and the time I am spending 'worrying' over my website, changing things and finding that it's still not 'quite right' is eating into revision and I'm getting pretty frustrated.

So I have come here to beg for some people to check it out, praise it (if its worthy... hmm) and tell me 'things' that I can do to bring it to the stage where it is pretty alright.

Please help me before I fail my exams; my lack of self control really *is* going to be my downfall.

Thankyou,
Est

Hi Est! Smiling
Sounds like what you need to do is take a break from your site. I get like that sometimes and if I step away for a day or two or even a week or three that always helps. This my dear, is called "disigners block". And is a normal thing.Laughing out loud

If you have the stress of exams on you as well you will not be able to focus on your site. Exams are more important I would think so forget the site for now (or try to) and study.

I only peeked at your site. Haven't given it a going over yet but will post later with my comments. I just thought I would try and give you some encouragement til then.Wink

Well I dunno. You should get the link exchange going. You're welcome to ask here if you have q's on how to do it. I myself have nothing for a long time on my site and decided to just take the interface of it so that it would be easy to read and easy to update. Now look at it! (http://www.conxiondesigns.com) Its pathetic really. You should consider yourself lucky that you even have a design! Smiling

You might want to take a stroll into the website review forum and have people pick it apart there. Smiling

I find that when I'm too close to what I'm working on I have to walk away, literally, and feed my brain something nondigital to balance things out. As long as it's legible, let it be and let the ideas ferment instead of forcing them.

Good luck! Smiling

Thanx guys, you've cheered me up =)
I'm just going to leave it as it is - enjoy posting in my weblog and attempt some revision, hehe
Thanx again!
