There are also many software programs (Image Ready) is a newish one which also optimise your images for the internet.

I am looking for a suggestion on how to reduce the sizes on my images to speed up my download time on my pages. I have already tried different file formats(gif,jpg,etc...).
Any suggestions??

Two things I do in my graphics program (Paint Shop Pro) that help to reduce image size (and maybe you are doing them already):
1. Resize to a smaller size, possibly with less resolution - I use "smart resample" most of the time
2. Reduce the number of colors in the image (this could create blotchy areas if you are not careful, so you'll need to play around until the pic is smaller, but still looks good)

My favorite online image "cruncher" is www.gifcruncher.com - also there's a jpeg cruncher and it works really well for most of my needs. (free!)
