Open Clip Art has icons you may use. They are in .svg format, so you will have to have a program such as Illustrator (not free) or Inkscape (free) to view/edit them.

I've downloaded some icons from istockphoto.com, but they're not free. Vector art runs $3/download. However, I use them all the time and have been happy with my downloads.
Thanks Megan. I went to iconbuffet and I wasn't sure if they made a mistake but one of those sets were only 5 dollars!! Apose to the normal 75 and up. I snatch those quick with my paypal account in case they were mistaken.
Once again thanks for the link . the ones you posted are the quality I'm looking for.
UPDATE. I just noticed it was a sale they put on. Never the less nice to get it while I could

I'll have to take a look at the icons in open clipart - I wasn't too impressed with the quality of the actual clipart, but I'll see about the icons.
Dan Clederholm has some great icons, and they're not all that expensive either:

Icon Buffet is good too, but a little more expensive:

Thanks for the heads up on that sale, Lex. I picked up the Soho set myself, given the low price.

Here's another good site I just found:
http://www.iconvector.com/icons.html
These are expensive, but high quality and vector based. Vector is so much better for something like this! Makes it easy to customize them.
