What do you mean by watermark here? Do you mean embedding coypright information into your image or do you mean making something that looks like water?
Again, this is a solution that is not cross browser compatible.

Sorry i thought that was what it was called. I have found a code that will do it, but it will only work in some browers.
Here is the site with the image and you can see for your self riponcollege.co.uk.
But i want to make that image always like that with out using the code, so i guess i would have to use photoshop?
But when i'm there i cant find away to do that?

You just want to fade it out like that? Can't you just put that ona layer and lower the opacity??

Yes, it's really very simple. You might want to look for some basic photoshop tutorials or better yet, get a good book on it.

easy yes it is ok just look at the layer tool bar and you will opticity on a layer marked 100% change it to whatever you want mate!

To make it faster you could set up an action and use it as a batch operation to do a directory of images automatically. Their our tutorials on the web for it.

I beleive for you to create a watermark Adobe Photoshop will do it, with that program you can do nearly anything u please.
