video
I guess that this is the most appropriate place for this..
My latest assingment at work is a site that will contain a lot of audio and video (we're expecting that most of our users will have access to a high speed connection). Does anyone know of any comprehensive resources that would be helpful? I haven't done a lot with audio and video before and I'm having a hard time finding good resources (that aren't, like, 4 years old!)

Megan,
there aren’t many resource sites other then the developer zones from Microsoft, Real Networks, and Apple. The largest third-party resource that I know of is www.streamingmediaworld.com However the following will actually give you a lot more information.
http://www.realnetworks.com/devzone/
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/authoring/
http://msdn.microsoft.com/workshop/c-frame.htm?/workshop/imedia/windowsmedia/IntroT oWMT.asp
Good luck,
