Turning a logo into a font

Hi folks

Wonder if I can pick your collective brains please?
At work they're changing to a new logo from next week and I was wondering how do I convert this into a new font (to allow users to select it in Word documents etc. so the new logo appears on Letterheads etc)
If it's a question of software any recommendations for Freeware?

Thanks

Andrew

In Word it should be an .eps file, I believe, for them to insert it?

To turn it into a font it MUST be in b&w only, is it?

Hi Suzanne

Thanks for the reply.

I have the logo in encapsulated post script but it's not in black and white, can I convert it and if so how?

Also where do I go from a b/w .eps file to converting it to a .ttf file?

Thanks

Depending on your operating system, you'd have to find a font-making program such as Corel Draw, Fontographer, et cetera, and trace the logo to get it into Vector format.

From there you can export it to .ttf.

Thanks Folks
In the end the "Boss" decided he didn't want the logo exported to a True Type font, which sort of simplifies things Wink
Merry Xmas and thanks anyway
