Stolen Page - Someone stole my form!
Some compeditor has stolen my form right down to my question icons. These icons are even still linked to my site. Is there a way to imbed a re-direct into a jpeg image so the user will go to my site when the image is loaded?

if your server is apache then there's a way to stop image thieves, check with your provider.

What are the URLs?
- First right to him/get his phone number via WHOIS (If he has a domain) and ask him to remove the images/form
- If you want revenge rename the images (as they are being called off your server and replace with a big image advertising your site.
Not very nice, but hey!

Or better yet, just do what I do from time to time. I've got a few nasty porno banners and I just rename one of those nasty porno banners as the gif their stealing from me. That usually gets them removing the link in a hurry. You can then also contact their host provider once this porno is showing up on their site and if the host doesn't allow porno and the cheat linker hasn't removed it in time. Their host will just delete their account, hehe. The is escpecially true for host that are located in conservative states where porno is big time criminal. Because then if the host doesn't do anything just contact the local District Attorney and church leaders and that host will be running for cover fast.

Tempting but I would not do the latter in case a minor saw the banner on said cheaters site.
You could always put a 'this website stole my content, why not come to me intead image!'

If your not to keen on porn, another suggestion is to change the images to very large files eg. a few meg.

Wow! You guys are nasty.
I wouldn't go with the porno because it could come around and hurt you in the end. The first thing I would do is email them nicely (I know it's hard but always remember to be nice no matter what, especially on the Internet.) Simply ask them to remove your buttons and such and offer some kind of warning. If they don't remove it within a week, take action and get nasty (without porn). Tell people like us about this, friends, newsletters, (you can really hurt them), put in huge images that would take a long time to load. You could put your button there but if they have the tags set right the visitors won't see it either way. If they are even using your form script, you could do something nasty here. You could make it so when someone uses there form they are taken to a page which explains what this person did. And make sure you stress why and how this is such a big deal on the Internet.
Hope this helps,

It's not the image that bothers me. It's that they stole my idea for a web site and didn't even bother to make their own form. It takes some nerve to not only rip off a site idea but to use the actualy page from that site! WHAT GUTS!!! The only way I knew about it is because they are actually still linking to my image.

Personally, Shai1 I would play hardball with this web site that stole your work. For the simple reason you stated, that they are a competitor of yours. If they weren't a competitor an email then all that other jazz would be fine. However, that's not the case, this thief is a competitor of yours. When a competitor of a real/traditional business steals the work of their rival you can bet there will be a war in court. If you want to make money like the real/traditional businesses you've got to protect your work as vigorously as they do. Otherwise, you're just creating work product for your competitor to use to basically take money/clients from you.

LOL!!! You guys are so funny. I really like this site. In just less than 12 hours and half a dozen trips here, I've learned so much. There are some pretty creative folks here.
The "this site stole my work" banner makes me giggle, the porno thingy is hilarious - still ROTFL; however, the mature, professional thing to do would be to contact this company upfront. Be assertive and make your request clear. If what you want doesn't happen, then get ugly ... ... hehe
