Hi,

What can i do to make these border dragons look not so photographic and glossy without loosing too much detail, to my eye they look to distracting and 3d, need to flatten them a bit.

Or should i loose them alltogether, replace with something else?

Using photoshop 7.01

I think the site looks good. Love the glowing navigation bar, it really grabs your attention. Wink
I think the dragons look okay but if you really don't like them then your site will probably look just as good without them. It's your choice. Smiling

I think they match the idea of the site, if your unsure of em remove em and see how it /feels/...

You could do a few things:

#1- Make a black layer on top of the dragons, with an opacity of like 25%
#2- Gaussian Blur
#3- Artistic>Film Grain

I personally like the dragons.

Cheers peeps,

I agrees with andy at first but since then i but the line border on them and now i think they are kinda ugly but are in keeping with the site topic. Tried removing them altogether and it looked too sparce. You know how it is when you look at something youve done for too long and cant tell if it looks crap or not, then come back to it the next day with a fresh pair of eyes. However I might experiment with some of eskater's ideas.

Hey david, I'm in over the bridge in Woolston.
