Well of the chosen images Megan has linked to the beige is definitely better than the grey. That said, I was the only person who preferred option two (assuming they removed those annoying watermarks).

Here's grey:

I like the beige better. Here's a better sample:

That's one thing that crossed my mind too. I though maybe a light shade of grey though?

The only thing I woud do with that is change the pink. I think that might be a turn off to some people. I've been playing around with it and a beige colour might look nice. Or you could try a pale blue. Like this:

Those colours aren't exactly right and excuse the selections. Was attempting to use Paint Shop Pro and couldn't find how to select colour range.

I agree with Megan. #2 is my choice.
I don't like the gradient on #1 at all. #4 isn't bad but too simple to get a high mark.

I think you meant the other way round?
I've decided to go with option one: http://img95.imageshack.us/img95/4596/layout3zy8.png

I think I like #2 the best, although it does look kind of template-ish to me. 5 is definitely out, too drab and lacks attention to the details. 4 is okay but I find it too grey and drab looking as well. 3 won't finish loading for me but definitely no good, way too amateurish looking. That leaves 1 and 2. My first thought is that 2 is more attractive but 1 highlights the key features which would make it work better from a business perspective. The domain checker and center offer graphic are much more prominent there. You could use 2 and change the domain checker form so it stands out more.
I'll vote for #1

I like option 4 but with maybe the side naviagtion of option 1 (grey not pink thou)
or maybe just option 1 with grey instead of pink for side nav.

adolescent? Interesting Not the impact I wanted to make considering I'm 33 and running an established company
What would your suggested change be for number 4?

I'm sorry, I din't mean that to sound harsh, color scheme looked geared towards kids, like a lego site.
what about somethings towards these color schemes?
?

Agreed 4, but color scheme seems too adolescent

Thinking out loud...
I don't like http://img362.imageshack.us/img362/2048/omsv2rg7.jpg or http://www.hostmypiconline.com/images/choonti.jpg. I don't like http://img181.imageshack.us/img181/4...enmind2mk4.jpg as much as the other two remaining. Looking at the last two, I don't like http://createthevision.co.uk/kim/OMH2.jpg as much as http://img95.imageshack.us/img95/4596/layout3zy8.png.
So http://img95.imageshack.us/img95/4596/layout3zy8.png wins for me.
