Scrolling text GIF animations
I’m looking for a program (wizard) that creates scrolling text GIF animations. I know there’s a plug-in or a program that does it. I used to have the program, but can’t remember what it was or who made it.
Both of the following sites have the effect:

I’m downloading Ulead GIF Animator now. Anyone know of any other programs?

I believe (though it's easy for me to be wrong today) that it's done server side based off a text file.
I would be interested in more information though.

Either way would work actually. I don't know of any program, but you could create a CGI script that creates postscript images based on the text from a file.
