Scanning glossy photos
When scanning glossy photos, they just show a white output. I assume this is from the light of the scanner reflecting from the photo.
Have any of you found tricks to getting around this when a client sends you a glossy and they have no other photos in matte or otherwise? Is there something you can place on top of the photo before scanning or anything like that? Or is there maybe an option on the scanner itself that I have overlooked?
