Sorry, this may be the wrong place for this... but - I could use a review on a new logo.

Please take a look and let me know what you think, thanks in advance.

I like it! I can interpret many forms from it -- not sure which is your primary one, though. Still, they seem to be about the same idea, and the supporting text/name holds it together well.

The text is very tight, but I guess you were going for that effect. Initial impression is that reading it doesn't work with the idea of creation/freedom. But it's more shapely, so I guess you can justify it.

Should scale well, I suppose, so is practically viable.

Good work. Smiling

I think it looks nice. The words, "see me create", leads me to believe that this will be a logo for some type of art site.?? At first, the symbol looked similar to a propane company logo that I saw once but now that I look at it more, it looks like it might be some sort of bowl with a droplet above it.

What is the symbol supposed to represent?

Thanks for the replies =) You guys, as always, are very helpful. (sorry about the mis-post)

I can see where you would get that thought disaster-master, but I think it's OK if people get that gist. I create anything from logo design, graphic design to intranet development and back-end database integration. One could simply say "I create" =)

The idea behind the design is this: When I think of "creating" I think of laboratories, so my thought was to depict a beaker getting a dose of the magical ingredient X, which is my ability to create.

Please take a look at the upgrade version.

Thanks again!

I agree with Sonia that it is a symbol you'd see more often in chemical/industrial company logos, but I think you've done a good job of shaping it -- the curves give it that artistic feel. It's great. Laughing out loud

I could see a beaker when I looked at it but for the life of me I couldn't make myself think of the word so I called it a bowl. Wink

I love it! Very Unique in both design and wording. I like the one that is on your site also, its blue, now that is awesome. I took a look at your portfolio, very nice.

Thanks everyone! Now I just have to design a new site around it!

Here is the final product in different colors:

Hi -

I see you made your final revision but I'd just like
to give you my impression of your logo....

I took it differently.... that is....I was looking down
from above and saw two arms facing torward a drop.

If you could change that drop to something else that
makes more sense (i.e. they get the logo right away and
you don't have to explain it) that might be useful.

Just my 2 cents.
