recursive photoshop action
I have about 5,500 images that I need to edit. I'm trying to setup a recursive photoshop action. One that calls itself when it is finished. Any ideas of how to do this? Basically, right now, the action is set to F2 button and it resizes the image, creates an outline, saves for web, then closes without saving. But then I have to press F2 again..to much work Pressing F2 5,500 times is tedious. I remember doing it once before, but I can't do it again for some reason. So what I want is to be able to open 100 images, press F2, and let it go through all 100, while I sip coffee.
Thanks for any help.

I'm no Photoshop expert but I think you need to use File > Automate
I did the same for around 500 images that I just needed to resize, could have added a border if I wanted, whilst I sipped beer!

Is there a "batch" function in PS? (I use Corel on a Mac, it's a whole different situation with AppleScripting instead of macros, et cetera).

Play with the settings, I have used this before...it's quite cool. Make sure you tell it to NOT save on top of the old pictures (save it in a different dir), othewise you're screwed if it messes up (or you put in the wrong settings)...trust me
