Real media problems

I have uploaded some rm. files to my site.
I'm using HTTP to access them with the ram. extension. I have no problem
accessing these files on any other computers... but on my local computer(the
one I use to upload) I keep getting "connection to server not established".
But I can access ANY other realplayer files on the web with NO problem on
this computer. Just trying to play my own uploaded files is a no-go. I
have a cable modem as an ISP.
Any help is appreciated in advance.
