Questions about making graphics downloadable
I want to offer a “Link to my site” page but don’t want people linking to the graphic. I know you can put in no right click. But how do I make a download link under the graphic so they can download the image?
Thank you

Zip it up and maybe add a nice readme.txt file for them as well, or a bonus treat.
Otherwise you can include instructions for downloading by right clicking.

Pretty much no matter what you do, even with the right click link, advanced users will most likely still be able to link to your site using your button. My suggestion would be to ask them nicely to download the file and upload it to their server, and then link it from there. The zip file would be a good idea. Good luck!

I am thinking about writing a polite note like I have seen on other web pages saying images urls are changed at random so that if someone links to the picture url they could lose their link at anytime. It would be a pain to change urls but at least my bandwidth would be protected.
