Hi everyone.

I have been fighting a problem here for a bit now. Here it is. My site:clearimagedesign.com has a 6 sec preload time on a 56k. The problem is that all I have on my first frame is a line of text and a black border and a movie. So, i changed it to just text, no gradient and just the black border and it still waits 4.7 sec to even bring up the text on blue background (see attachment)... . .

I have no idea why it is saying I have 22k on the first frame.. .when I DON'T!!! ! I can't figure out why it's pausing for so long to even bring up my preloader, which is another 8 sec's or so.. . They shouldn't have to wait, just to wait again on the preloader I know, I hate it!!! But, I can't get it to clear this 22k it's claiming on the first frame. I tried even just a blue background, no gradient, no border, no text.. . . and still the same thing..It's like there is some invisible weight on the beginning of my movie.. .

Does this make sense to any of you? ? Is it anything to do with generator being installed?? i have no clue.

Thanks for any input on this problem.. .Sad

Are u using some action scripts on the beginning - that could be a case for 22K for first frame.

Also, the prealoader could start later if it a "movie" object within a movie.

It has nothing to do with generator.

The only action scripting I have is an if frameLoaded goto but I have the same on other sites, and they load much quicker that this one.. . Very weired eh?

Let me know if you can think of another possibility for me to check on please. ..

Thanks for the response!!

Jason.
