PSP newbie question

I have used psp a few times, but am not way a pro. I am trying to create a graphic using 3 layers. Long story short, it is not saving it correctly. When I save it and then I go to pull it up on my hard drive, it is not showing the file, rather it is showing the psp logo in the thumbnail instead of my graphic. And, when I go to open it, it says 'unable to locate file'. This is driving me crazy. It is not the first one I have done, but for some reason I am doing suddenly doing something wrong. Can someone help me?

Showing the psp logo in the thumbnail is normal, but the unable to locate file is not. Next time, try doing a SAVE AS instead of just a save (File / Save As), so that you can tell it exactly where you want the file to be placed on your hard drive. Then you will know exactly where it is. If you still have the problem, perhaps a fresh install of PSP is in order.

Thanks for the info. I always do a 'save as' so that it why this is so frustrating. On the other ones I did, it didn't show the logo in the thumbnail, it showed the graphic. Now it doesn't.

Almost sounds like the file was corrupted... Try saving it in a different folder... Or save it as a tiff and include the layers.
