Prototype for SNW Summer in Vancouver 2003 CD
Hello!
Here is a mockup image (100+ KB) of a screen for an upcoming SNW Summer in Vancouver 2003 CD. My currently plan is to use a series of images and image maps to handle navigation, everything displayed using a standard browser. It's set up to work on screens 800x600 and larger.
The text, navigation, possibly even the image will change. Nearly all images will clearly show where they were taken. We plan on having a number of images for each fun or touristy location in Vancouver. I just happened to find this image first. So, is the text readable to you? Does the navigation seem reasonable? Is an image width of 760 reasonable enough to fit on all browsers at 800x600 res, or am I too conservative?
The image was processed using a PhotoPaint 8 script I wrote to draw borders, copyright, and add contrast masking to bring out shadow detail. Scripts rule!
