Photoshop Update
Has anyone installed the ps6 update yet? particularly with regards to the network problems? I installed it yesterday and it is going well apart from the fact that memory usage seems to have skyrocketed.....
Anyone know of some good tweaks / solutions for this?

I haven't installed PS 6 yet, but if the software is causing any problems, have you tried contacting adobe support? I know that they would be able to help much more than any of us could as far as actual software problems go.
Good luck,
Brian

This PS6 problem has been hounded to death on Adobe's forums and whatnot. Microsoft and Adobe kept pointing fingers at each other regards the network hogging problems.
I worked out the spike in memory usage, the setup of the update must have set the memory preference higher. I had to change it back from 75%, I never set it that high, so it must have been done by the setup routine.

I installed it and it fixed problems that didn't exist on my system. Never really had the network problem. My network runs through a Linux box using a Samba share so maybe that had something to do with it. I had a few out of memory errors. I did have Photoshop open at the time.
