photoshop Problems.
Sometimes without warning i find that when using photoshop 7 i will open a new document and the colour settings will automatically change so i can only use the colour scale of black, grey and white. If i close the document so i have nothing open the color comes back.
When i say the colour goes and comes back i mean the small squares at the bottom of tool bar change from say red(when its in colour) to grey(when i open a document). If i try to fill or draw it will only use grey and not red if i chose that colour.
Can anyone help, because it is really anoying.
Thanks.

In the new file dialog box there is an option at the bottom for colour mode. It sounds like it's got greyscale checked in there. Change it to RGB. In an existing image go image > mode > RGB colour (or something like that - don't have it in front of me to check)
(Not quite sure that I read your message right so let me know if I've got the question wrong)

I was thinking the same thing as Megan. Try hers out it should work. There are also a bunch of other colour modes as well you can try out.
