Photoshop help
Lets keep this simple, in photoshop you have your image in a box, and then out side of the box the background is like a dull grey, is there a way I change it to white?

That's simply not possible in a regular PS version.
Altough there might be a hack available as this has been questioned before.
I'd say, browse studio.adobe.com and versiontracker.com, these are your best chances!

It actually is possible, I have done it once by fluke, and have replicated it but, I can't remember how anymore :S
Yes, it annoys me too.

I've done it by accident before too, so it is possible. I'll look around and see if I can find out the trick.

The reason i want to know so bad is because the last site i designed the BG was almost the same color as the PS gray..soo confusing

Okay, figured it out. You can do this to a document background but not to the program background. So maximize your image, select the fill tool, and shift-click the background of the image document. Ta-da!
In Windows XP you can also change the application background through the control panel (Display > Appearance > Advanced > Application Background).
