Hey everyone,

Does anyone know why my images always look darker in Photoshop than anything else I open it with like Photo Editor?

Two things to check:

1) Monitor Calibration - You'll find the Adobe Gamma utility in your control panel (PC)

2) Check what color profile is being assigned to your images. For web display you should be using the sRGBwhatever (short memory I never can remember the rest of that...)

I once darkened my monitor without realizing that my images were being affected. Everyone else was seeing them too dark.
