Photoshop color issue
I can't pin point when it began but I use print screen a lot and paste it into photoshop to look at with a magnifying glass. Well now the colors look all out of wack in photoshop. Color presets look normal but the a nice baby blue has a lot more red in it now almost making it look purple. However, if I save for web the color is right color. Anyone have any clues? TIA

Check what your 'working space' color profile is.
Edir>>Color whatever is says
For screen display you should be using the sRGB whateveritsays setting. (Sorry I use it for hours and hours a day, but I can't ever rember the details of this setting)
Also make sure you are in RGB mode when you're working on images.

If you have colour management set (for other applications, and I think for PS, too), it's set to show you print colours. I didn't realize PS had a screen display option, interesting!
Unless you're doing print work, keep colour management off.

Thanks you two, when I first went into the setting for color management, I noticed it was set to "web defaults" and management was off but I needed to set the web defaults to color management off as well. Fixed the problem. Thanks again.

Not screen display per se, but you normally work in the sRGB***** for designing for screen display.
You can also load color profiles such as your monitor profile which I guess would be good for Intranet design and the like...where the monitors would all have the same profile.
Also under View>>Proof Setup you can view what it'll look like under:
Mac RGB
Windows RGB
Monitor RGB
This one is good to check out for any shifting.
What's interesing the that the Mac RGB seems to be lighter and brighter than the rest. If it's way, way off you can adjust until you get something acceptable.

The Mac has display settings built in -- I have my monitor set to PC settings when I do photos and such, and Mac settings the rest of the time.
