Paint shop pro is pretty easy to use, but if you already have the best Graphics program, why not just take the time to learn how to use it? It might take a while, but it's worth knowing in the end.

Paint shop pro is easier to master, but since you already have photoshop you may as well learn it, once you know how to use it, it will become second nature.
I have a bunch of bookmarks for photoshop tutorials, just go to google.com and search for photoshop tutorials, they have web rings, news links, personal sites, even adobe (maker of photoshop had tutorials - adobe.com)
one I picked from my favorites is http://www.myjanee.com/jnetuts.htm
some nice handy tuts there, also at the bottom of the page they list tutorial searchs, news link tips and resource links
Keegan2 is a master of photoshop, may know better sites
good luck
you learn from you mistakes, its better to know one program well than know bits of a few

Don't be too quick to give up. Photoshop can be overwhelming at first, but if you keep plugging away you'll get the hang of it. There are a few good tutorial sites out there:

You might want to consider buying a book or taking a course if you really want to learn the program well.

I can say from my personal experience, that when I first started with PS I had no clue, and it looked so daunting. But I stuck with it and it is one of the most important tools I work with.
There are so many sites out there.
