perfect square?
I have been stumped with this problem for a very long time so I think it is time for some help...
I want to make a perfect square on Photoshop, but when I make a box that is 5X5 pixels it does not look square. I finally figured out why, because screen resolutions are not square. So what dimensions do you need to use to make a small square?

height = width?
i dont think your gonna get a perfect square unless you create the square directly in the middle of the page smaller than the screen dimensions.

Provide a sample, I think you either have an issue with your monitor or have anti-aliasing enabled. Or possibly a visual illusion going on. You can measure the image on your monitor to determine if there is an issue.

Hmmm....that sounds odd.
How are you doing this? If you are making a selection and filling it make sure feathering is set to 0.
Why not just create a new 5 px X 5 px image and fill it, stroke it, or do whatever you need to do with it?
