PDF Format help
Howdy
I'm trying to convert a Pagemaker 6.5 file into a PDF extension. Pagemaker does give me the option to do this via exporting, but it saves the file as a postscript extension - not PDF. Do I have to buy software to convert to PDF format or can I change from Pagemaker?
I'm going around in circles......

I believe you have to get Acrobat from www.adobe.com to make *.pdf files.

Felicia,
You have a couple of options here:
1) Get a copy of Ghostscript. It will convert the Pagemaker postscript file to a .pdf for you. You can get it here.
2) Find somebody with Acrobat installed and use Distiller on your postscript file to convert it.
3) Get the PDFWriter printer driver from Adobe. I think it will work with Pagemaker, but don't hold me to it.
4) Bite the bullet and buy Acrobat (last option for sure- it costs around $225)

Just my opinion, worth $0.00001 anywhere on earth.

If you only have a few documents use Adobe’s on-line service. You can convert most file formats to PDF (the first 3 free).
