Orange And Maroon Web Effect To Show Support For Tech Victims

We're trying to get a "Web Orange And Maroon Effect" going for Friday 04/20/2007 to coincide with "National Maroon And Orange Effect Day". We've challenged all webmasters and bloggers to incorporate VT colors into their site for the day to show support for the victims.

We're not designers by any stretch of the imagination, just VT alumni If you folks can do anything to get the word out, we would sincerely appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Great idea and thanks for posting! I'm already thinking about how we can update our sites to show support

In My support for VT, I made this simple MySpace Theme for all that has a MySpace Account and Wants to turn Orange and Maroon on Friday...

Today my personal site is sporting a new Orange and Maroon effect theme to support Virginia Tech. The theme is available for download here. Feel free to use it! It's released under a CC lisence so you're free to modify it too.

I also managed to convince my boss to do something on our website for this occasion. I work on the website for the housing department at a major Canadian university so I felt it was particularly appropriate for us to do something today. Our director also wrote a message of support for the home page. You can see it all here.
