Need ideas/resources for flash....please :)

I'm trying to create a website for an artist and I'd love to use flash. Theres very little text associated with it so I figure this might be a perfect opportunity to try. I use photoshop 6 and dreamweaver 8.

Please let me know if anyone knows of any good (free or not) software I can check out. Maybe some good resources on websites? Please help. Thanks!!
