Multiple Browser troubles
Yo guys,
Posting a question on a forum is usually a last resort for me but this time I'm having a bit of bother. I've been running my website for just over 2 years now, I started making it when I was 14 and it's undergone many, many new designs as my experiance increases. Well, about 8 or 9 months ago I started using Dreamweaver for my website and always previewed it with Mozilla Firefox, everytime I wanted to check how the site was doing I'd user firefox. But only recently I noticed that if you go to my site using internet explorer the links are everywhere. Now, I've managed to fix the positioning of the links but there's still many problems with it.I know the problem isn't screen resolution. What I create in Dreamweaver is different from what I get given in Firefox and in Internet Explorer and who knows what it looks like in any other browsers. Is there any way I can get it to look the same on every browser?
I'm kinda baffled because then only a certain audience can view my site.
If it's needed then My site is here.
Thanks in advance,
Shaun,

You could make it 90% to 100% look the same in major browsers...

Well, I always thought that if I use tables then it would work out fine, but I guess it's not that easy. I'd really, really like to centre everything up but I don't know how.
I really want to go to college to study web-design so I'm trying to improve, I doubt I'm good enough though.

It's not the greatest of designs but hopefully I've managed to centre things up.
Do you think I've got what it takes to take up web-design as a career?
I've not left school yet though and I know there's a lot of work I still need to do.
Thanks,

You have the basics web design instincts covered up, a little technical know-how would help a lot. Practice makes perfect... The site looks good but im having problems with your images, it loads but the images loads only half...

I don't have the most reliable hosting, you may have heard of it. Freewebs.com, I only got it because the website was a silly side project, but I ended up just buying a domain name because it was cheap.
Anyway, thanks for the help. And is there anything you would recommend I read or do before I attempt to go for a college course in web-design?
