making photos or pictures use only black and white colors
I use adobe photoshop 5.5, and I want to know how
to make pictures or photos use only two colors: black and white.
the site I'm making is using mostly only those two colors, and
I have photos and stuff, and I just want to make the obejcts in an image white and the rest of it black.

to make it grayscale, I think its:
Image > Mode > Grayscale

And choose dithering options, but that won't give you entirely what you are looking for, I think. It might, though.
Otherwise, you can desaturate the entire piece and pump up the contrast until you get them all separated out into black and white.
