Layout & Design Question

I'm running Gallery on my site and I need to make it conform more to the rest of the site. However, I'm not sure how to set it up to compliment the rest of the site.

The main site is here: http://www.alt-realities.net/index.htm

The fan fiction section is here: http://www.alt-realities.net/efiction/

The gallery is here: http://www.alt-realities.net/gallery

Any suggestions?

Edited to add: I think my question was misunderstood. I've clarified it below!

I don't know anything about this software at all but I'm sure there's a way to customize your template. You should be able to just apply your header and footer to the gallery script.

Gallery has a huge support forum -- have you tried there?

Oh, no, I don't need help skinning the template. I need suggestions on the layout so that it flows with the rest of the site.

Should I do it the same way with the two columns on each side and the main info in the middle?

Should I do only a single column on the right or left?

Would it be too overwhelming to use the same background and layout as is found in the rest of the site?

And anything else anyone might suggest to make the site fit with the flow and feel of the rest of the site.

Use the same background and layout but maybe leave out the right column. With three columns and the gallery part it may be too cluttered horizontally. Leave out the right column and there will be more room.
