Index creation problem
My problem is that i am creating a multi page website which my main page is in the public_html file. this page is fine i have no problems with this page. so i created the other pages and filed the first one under the folder for that page (IE> the main folder is public_html so i created a secondary folder thats named home underneath the public_html.which the index for the home folder displays when i type in the address for that page. but, none of the animated pictures want to work on the home page. Yet if i just stick it under public_html it works fine but then the main page has a sharing violation of some sort and messes with my links. The subdirectory is the home page Because my privacy policy is my main index. Can some one give me any kind of help of how to get my animated pictures to work

Could you provide a link? That would be helpful.
Are the pictures not displaying, is that the problem? It's probably because when you move the HTML the references to the image files are borken - they're pointing to the wrong place.

Okay, the link to the pictures are probably pointing to the wrong spot on the server. Look at what the src part of the image tag is pointing to. They are in the wrong directory or something is not right. If you upload this we could take a look at wht the code is doing and troubleshoot from there.

Outofcon,
This is really a simple problem. It's basically a broken link. When you moved the files around on the server the links to the images broke. So instead of a broken link in an tag you've got a broken link in the . When you get home, check those link to make sure they are pointing to the right place when it's up on the server.
If you still can't figure it out post back here and we'll try to help. I can't help by IM.

Which method did you upload the images, binary or ASCII ?
If you go to your web address, say www.yourwebaddress.not/home/imagename.ext (or where ever they are), does the image show and animate? if so ignore the first thing I said. If not upload in the other method.
Depending on your host the home folder may have to be in the public_html folder (if is a shared host)

is your web publisher a person or program?
Are you using sub folders as in sub domains? folder.domanname.not
Are you use full or partial paths to yoru images ../image or the whole http: ...?
