Importing Quicktime into Flash
I thought I could load a Quicktime movie into a .swf file or a standalone player an run the thing.
How does one do that?

I'm sure you've tried this already, but doesn't the usual file > import command work? I don't have a quicktime movie handy but it does have the option on the dropdown list of file types.

Thanks for the reply. It seems that you can import the image but can not include it in a swf file. You CAN make another QT movie that is interactive.
Flash is not powerful enough to support QT within the Codec but QT does support flash within its codec.
You can import a series of images made from a QT movie but the resulting file runs slowly since it's reading a series of files instead of just the changes between frames (as QT does).
