hi everyone. Bit of a double ender this! Firstly,

whats considered a good layout for images. Theres hundreds of scripts & mini apps that will create straightforward image galleries & there easy to code as well, but is there anything that everyone thinks looks visually slick or anything I should be taking into consideration? I have about 100 images, split into five catagories with sub catagories!

On a seperate note, other than Macromedia contribute, which is prohibitive financially, is there anything similar on the market allowing site owners to easilyy modify content without disrupting layout/learning web design

Thanks

This is php, so knowledge is needed to install it, and customize it. However once it's all set end users upload photos from their browser, and can also do some modifications.

I have to agree. I've used Gallery on a few sites now, and no one has ever had any problems figuring it out.

For editing, give Nvu (nvu.com) a try. It's free, open source and somehow tied into the mozilla foundation... (i know it uses the gecko rendering engine for its wysiwyg view).
