Illustrator 9 tutorials
Hi to all users and moderators,
I'm looking for online tutorials to help me make my way through Illustrator 9. I've found some handy Illustrator tutorials on www.2ginc.com/ but they must have been made for a previous version, as some tools are different than what my toolbar displays.
Actually, what I'm trying to achieve (I guess it'll seem very basic to you, guys) is
1) draw a straight line (I told you it would be basic ! )
2) most important, is there a way to type in a full sentence of text, and then create/add anchor points to it so that each and every letter can be manipulated separately? If the answer is "no, you've got to create each and every character separately", can someone explain me how to get more than one anchor point on each character? For now I just get one, corresponding to the baseline of the text and located at the bottom left corner of it.
Any ideas, comments, useful URLs welcome !
Thanks in advance !

Hi, you might try these sites:
http://www.designsbymark.com/ai_tips/index.shtml
http://www.screamdesign.com/graphics/illustrator/tips/index.html
http://www.adobe.com/products/tips/illustrator.html
Hope you find these helpful, I'm not exactly sure what version they are for... but they should be useful to some extent. Good luck!
