I want to incorporate sound into some flash designs im making..is there a certain file that is better to use for that then others? Do you just use .wav or .mp3 or what? Confused with all that..Thanks guys!

If you use Flash4 go for MP3 (Flash3 will not support them). They have a better quality-size ratio than WAV files.

Agreed- MP3s are much better for flash 4. They have an almost cd-quality sound while keeping file size minimal.

Keep in mind that Flash 4 will still only import .wav, but it has the capability of exporting them with .mp3 compression

Also some words of wisdom learned after much trial and error. Don't optimize the wav file before import. The size of the wav on import has no bearing on the exported file size. But if the .wav file is optimized then when flash reoptimizes it, it comes out very low quality. Just a little tidbit I learned.
