how many pixels equals an inch? - confused
hey:
i'm trying to make a graphic that will be used in a print ad 1 1/2" high x 4 3/4" wide. however, i can't really get the image size right because i don't know how many pixels equals an inch. anybody know?

hmmmmm, I'll I'll take a stab at it. I think it has to do with the resolution. 72 dpi (dots per inch) = 72 pixels per inch, 300 dpi = 300 pixels per inch. Good question, I'm curious to see if I'm right
