Your greys (highlights and "white space") are too close in color. I'd lighten one of them considerably. And as it stands, your main content section is getting really crowded. It could become easy to miss what you were looking for.

Other than that it looks good. Run with it.

The colours do not really appeal. I would suggest bright, friendlier colours like yellows, reds, blues, and greens. White is also a good colour to use, it gives a sense of space and reliability throughout a Web page.

With all the space in between columns & the right of menu, it could maybe look better with a slightly larger font size?

It looks much better now Smiling You obviously haven't finished the site so with a bit more content and graphics it will look fine!

Looks a bit bland to me... I've seen a million and one other websites like that. Sorry to be harsh.

One thing I would suggest is that when you build the site, save yourself time now and build it with CSS and XHTML and only use tables for tabular data. Trust me... you won't regret making the switch.

The reason it has to be a little bland is because it needs to be very fast loading. And I kind of have to follow this template echoarticles.com/demo

Andy, do you like the colors at all? The header is not even a little bit finished so that might spurce it up a bit.

It's the shade of blue, it's just dull... why not add some lighter blues and an orange shade to the mix...? It'll help liven things up a bit.
