Help on my site (broswer compatibility)
We are currently developing our website it's lazymovie.com. We have been encountering a problem on the compatibility of our site to different browsers. For the explorer browser, there is no problem at all but for the firefox some of our pages get distorted.
Why is this happening?
How do we cure this?
I really need help.

Could you point out which pages are having problems? I browsed around the site in Opera and Firefox and I can't find anything here.

Thanx for the reply... Till now there are still some error in our FAQs page. But somehow we are slowly fixing it. The distorted pages were already mended however right now, one page got distorted up to now. Not sure though if our programmer noticed.
Click the link provided under the concerns about culture, the very first questions. two windows will pop up. We still fix it however by tuesday probably.
I would just like to know what causes these incompatibility, so it would be easy for us next time.
Thank you so much for the reply guys...

Usually its IE that get the interpretation of the code wrong... To ensure your site is cross-browser friendly, design it with either Firefox or Opera, then if everything looks ok on these browsers, check on IE last, and fix it for IE, its less painless this way.
If you cant find whats wrong, the best first step is validating the code as megan suggested. It also wouldnt hurt if you validate the css as well...

I'm on linux right now and am not set up to test in IE yet but the first thing you should do when you're having display problems is run a validator.(http://validator.w3.org).
I have checked the page in Firefox and Opera on linux and the only problem I can see is that sometimes the pop-up windows aren't large enough for the contents. That's not really a great way to handle this page anyway, since people usually hate pop-up windows. Some people might not see them at all because they have an agressive pop-up blocker turned on. Others might be conditioned to automatically close pop-up windows, assuming they contain advertising.
