HELP: Hotspots, Grafic, background - please check

Hi dear friends,

I'm a very enthusiastic user of the forums and would like to ask you to help on my new project. Under http://www.mundini.de/Saglietto/index.htm I uploaded my latest work and have the following questions you may want to check:

When you're going to the end of one page you can use the arrow to get back to the top of the page (= hotspot). However, it seems not to go all the way up but stops a few pixel under the top line. Do you know how to get all the way up?

How does the graphic layout looks at your screen? How's the download time? Is it acceptable?

How can I get the browser to load the external CSS faster? Once loaded and reloaded the browser shows my CSS fonts but sometimes not the first time.

Background image: I used 1 graphic as background image which is pretty big since I have to check on 1200 x 708 and 800 x 600 monitor size. I don't like it very much since it takes up a lot of loading. Do you have another idea on how to use
a) the horse image
b) the buttons as links and
c) the brown color as background?
