Good idea?
I am the webmaster of a jokes site adn I've been wondering if you guys think it would be a good idea to put up a jokes forum. People could easily read and submit jokes through this medium. It'd also be a good place for me to get new jokes from for my site, but before I went ahead and did this I figured I'd better ask you if it was a good idea. Is it?

There are a lot of joke sites out there (I even have one), instead of a forum you're better off just adding a link on your web page where people can submit their jokes via email or whatever.
Having people posting stuff directly to a site/forum can also be dangerous and you'll get spammed a lot.

I already have a link for my viewers to submit jokes via e-mail. By the way what is the address of your jokes site. Mine is just getting started and is in a great need of jokes. Would you mind if I took some from your site?

And from another (but the same) angle -- remember copyright is about CONTROL, even if it's giving up that control...
