Forum versus Blog
Greetings,
Getting a side project of mine off the ground. It already has your atypical forum (running phpbb, been great so far). I want to expand my news links on the front page, and then have a link to discuss the particular article. The question is, where should that link go?
I was thinking of just creating a separate category in the forum titles News, and then do direct links to the respective thread, but that's seems to be a ton of manual labor, unless somebody has an idea how to automate it.
The other idea is just to have a blog on the front page which would save a great deal of time, but it seems odd to have two separate areas on the site with a different look+feel for people to communicate with each other. What's your opinion? Thanks!

Hah, just found Topics Anywhere mod for phpbb, methinks I've made a decision.
