Flash (MX) - Errr?
Ok, I have bought Studio MX finnally. Very proud of myself that I saved up for so long.
My question is: What are some good reading materials to begin to LEARN Flash. I am hoping there are some FREE resources out there. The guide that came with mine doesnt help me much.
Or, if anyone was willing to... wait - nevermind. Rofl... that would be hours on end. Lets just stick the any good reading materials. I did a few web searches but nothing to interesting turned up.
If anyone could help me out here... I would be OH so greatful. Thank you for your time people's.
(I got OH so many ideas and designs laid out, I just ... well man - Flash is confusing as Hell for me )

Thank you..
lol, yeah - even though I don't have much money - and it took me forever to save up for Studio MX ... I thought I would support thier great programs by actually buying it. I hope it makes up for all the other copies of illegal software I have. (The price sure makes it seem as if I had...rofl).
PS: *Stands up nice and Tall* It makes me feel proud that I prolly have one of the few legal versions of macromedias products in this world... (rofl)

Welcome to TWF Phlame,
Doing a search on Google for Flash MX Tutorials produces these reults and you should find them useful for starters.

The ones that come with it are really pretty basic. I would highly reccomend that you invest in a good book on the topic if you really want to get good at this. There comes a point when online tutorials just won't cut it. One option would be too look for books on older versions (cheap!) - that would at least help you get the basics down although the actionscripting is quite different between v.4 & 5 so you'd have to keep that in mind.
