Flash intro example and ideas
Hey,
Here is another beginning Flash intro...Tell me what you think of the start. I know i need to change the background color...But as far as the Flash logo and everything else what do you think? Give me any ideas...I want to hear any ideas you have that i can do or change...Thats just the start..I want a lot more added...I need your opinions though...Is this a good start? Ok thats a great idea justin..Any other ideas? About the background, my buddy sent me the Flash intro and i wanted to put it up quick. I didnt know what color that flash background was so i just picked whatever was closest and put it up really fast..Ill change it though
Please any other ideas???

It's pretty good, but it's too short + needs sound. If you are going to use an intro, it needs to be a little longer, and a little more catchy. Take a look at some places with a really good flash intro (IMHO), such as:
1. http://www.futurequest.net/
2. http://www.balthaser.com/home.html
3. http://www.4guys.com/
See what I mean? They don't just put their logo on the intro and a few lines of text, they are designed to keep you interested from a beginning. If used properly, a flash intro can be a great branding tool for your site- but if it isn't use properly, it can just be an extra hassle taking up loading time.

Ya i know..I am just asking for ideas. Got any to make it longer? Got any ideas for music for this site? My buddy and I are totally new to Flash..We got the program about a week ago..What should we do? I want this intro to be awesome!! It want it to be the intro to our main site...Any ideas? Please give me some..If you think this post should also be posted in web critique you can move it...I didnt know where to put it!

Not bad, but why is the background color of the page different then the background color of the flash animation? Doesn't look good.
You could make it longer by first introducing the products you sell, then fade it your logo. I don't know, but I've seen that done before. Violin music like from Star Wars would sound good
